Stefan Laub/LaubLab KG (known for the V-Ray / Cinema 4D integration) announced the availability of rhino.io – a Cinema 4D import/export plugin for Rhino 3dm files. It has an introductory price of EUR 79 with the regular rice at EUR 99 and is available on both Windows and as beta on OS X.

Nitro 4D has a new plugin “History“. It is some kind of macro recorder that allows you to record modeling steps and play it back repeatedly. Another new plugin is Easy View.

Downloads active

I have added a Downloads page where I provide some old – but still useful – plugins for Cinema 4D for now. I previously hosted them on my old website codesign.at. These plugins are provided under a MIT style open source license so you can use them in pretty much any way you want. As they are provided as COFFEE script source you can have a look how they work.

When you derive your own versions from them please make sure you register your own plugin IDs so that there is no collision between different versions.
