eyeon Software ships Fusion 6.1 with these new features:

  • OpenCL support
  • Renderman support

The Foundry ships Nuke 6.0v7 which fixes some bugs. They also have a public beta on their new website which looks quite nice.

The Foundry unveil Mari 3D Texture Paint Tool

The Foundry will unveil Mari – a new 3D texture paint tool – at NAB 2010 (Stand SL2805) in Las Vegas. Mari originated at Weta Digital and was used to create highly detailed digital assets for Lord of the Rings, King Kong and Avatar.
